11:00 AM: 2 teaspoons of probiotic vinegar, 2 teaspoons of nutritional yeast
11:30 AM-6:25 PM: hiked up Seymour Canyon, across the face of peak 4-3 and down the spine of 2-1 on the lower half of Hoyt’s Peak and took the trail to the Weber Canyon Road where I was picked up.
Ate 3 ounces of salted pumpkin seeds and 2 ounces of walnuts during breaks, drank 5 of 7 bottles of water.
Depending on tree and cloud cover, snow and elevation the temperatures fluctuated by 30 degrees. There was still dew on the leaves as late as 1 PM in shaded spots.
I did manage to locate the overgrown trace to the peak, which will have to wait for next year and should take 2 days and a night spent on the mountain. Seymour’s was like climbing a 2 mile stair without steps most of the way.
Saw three women, two equestrians and 1 runner with dogs on the final hour of the descent. The rest of the day was just inhabited by obnoxious tree squirrels and a few chipmunks
Strained right knee and sprained both ankles
7:00 PM: 2 burgers, 3 ounces cheese, small portions of radishes, asparagus, mushrooms, squash, jalapenos
