The Exile Wonders at Living Free in the Land of the Lie

Sir, thanks so much for cueing me on so many subjects, from training to this:
The Lie - How do you manage it?
Fri, Feb 28, 3:29 PM (2 days ago)
James,
This young Ghost wishes to know how to live as free as possible within the System and the Lie it is built on. Is it even possible to do so?
My gut tells me that having as little ties as possible to the material world and having basic skills (farming, building, driving) is a good way to ensure one's sustenance while keeping one's footprint as small as possible. I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter.
Best regards,
- The Exile

It is no accident that the largest tax farm in human history, where something like 3 million souls were worked to death unpaid and unfree to clear the hated forests, is named the "Home of the Free." For most of the history of this nation until the mid 1970s, any working class man could be abducted and sent off to kill and die for the corporate hierarchy in a strange land, yet it was believed to be the home of the free and the land of liberty.
The use of the word liberty when the founding documents of this soul pen were signed meant the latitude of the elite to dispose of their social inferiors as they saw fit with minimal interference. Yet we need to believe in the goodness of our social order so badly, we actually altered the meaning of that word, willed it to mean freedom and opportunity for all.
The lie that this nation, founded as a penal colony for all, was a land of opportunity for European Americans and of abuse for African Americans, served to unite the nation when it needed to be weaponized for conquest and now serves to divide as its management becomes stressed in its decline. This is the core lie we live under, that every poor ghost benefited from the enslavement of the poor ancestors of those who now hunt us in the streets by the very elites who once screwed everyone and now pass the blame onto the names of the sorry scions of those they enslaved of old.
I am living as a hobo because I have chosen to write about this.
I suggest you keep the information that has consigned me to this state to yourself.
Most souls—especially female souls—need hope, an irrational belief that things will turn out for the best in the end, when, in the end, we die painfully and discarded or drugged and replaced.
I suggest the practice of Fractional Autonomy, meaning sustained agency in the scope not immediately of interest to the System of Control and not crucially connected to its punishment and reward system.
Some quick tips drawn from a life lived writing millions of words trying to constantly re-achieve this fleeting state of semi-freedom:
-1. Do not put forth anti-system views to frails or foot soldiers, believers in and functionaries of The Lie. Let them live the lie. To not wake them up, for it will either shatter their sanity or gain their enmity. Let like minds find you.
-2. Minimize your material needs.
-3. Minimize your emotional needs of belonging, for this is the entrapment zone.
-4. Do not participate in politics in any way, including voting.
-5. Make not arguing a guidepost in your mind. Devote no energy to arguing and free your mind for doing. The genius of democracy as a system of voluntary enslavement of the mind is that it occupies productive potential in pointless tension between the powerless, keeping them powerless.
-6. Think like a criminal and act like a saint.
-7. Avoid defending others, honor, institutions, ideas and laws—defend only the persons of you and your loved ones.
-8. Study the Lie to be able to avoid its ever-expanding web.
-9. Do not fight The Lie—let it feast on others, let it devour the souls and minds of its willing livestock.
-10. When you find a like mind, ally, do not organize. The System of Control has an instinct to corrupt or eat any lesser system, especially systems of cooperation.
-11. Seek the Truth and in secret. The champion of the Truth is the enemy of The Lie and something as weak as a lie cannot tolerate opposition.
-12. Draw close absolute lines about you, and program yourself to defend them intelligently, tactically, sustainably, and with quiet fanaticism in order to preserve your inner autonomy, your warrior spirit.
-13. Cultivate your warrior spirit independent of and in association with warrior fraternities and even war-like systems functionary to The System of Control. Any soul not a warrior is doomed to succumb to the lie of Hope, which is a chief falsehood of The Lie—its beckoning siren call.
-14. Make yourself useful, especially in fields that are physical, toilsome and dangerous, which will limit the participation of slave souls and maximize your contact with free souls.
-15. Wean yourself from the need for approval, in part by embracing rejection. When the sheep hate you, then you might just smell like a wolf.
-16. Rather than ties that bind, think of social life as spheres that overlap. This was foundational to the success of the greatest duelist of feudal Japan, Musashi.
These are simple rules I apply to my struggle to remain internally free and functionally my own agent under the sloth-seducing mother who wants to morally maim, blend and then greedily drink us all.
Good fortune to you, Exile.

This is bloody great. Thanks man.
Jeremy Bentham     Mar 4, 2020

“He who cannot obey himself will be commanded. That is the nature of living creatures."

“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.”

“To recognize untruth as a condition of life—that certainly means resisting accustomed value feelings in a dangerous way; and a philosophy that risks this would by that token alone place itself beyond good and evil."

- Friedrich Nietzsche, German Philosopher, 1844-1900
