‘An Ass-scratching Redneck’
Posterior Impressions of Harm City from the Rocky Mountain Misanthrope

The lives of humans in your urban cities seems surreal to an ass-scratching redneck like myself. To give you an example, the winters here can be ruthless. My wife works as a lunch lady at a school. I've always made sure she has a vehicle in good condition to drive to work. We both drive the same route to work, but because of the extra hours I work we are not able to drive together. I leave an hour early and call her about road conditions, check on her on bad days to make sure she arrives safely.
You also find a few men and women with car trouble and always stop to assist them. I think I know why you have taken the attitude about not helping people, it’s too dangerous. My rural county is also loaded to the teeth with weapons, knives, shotguns, pistols. You don't hear of it because of the media. But a man raping a woman with a knife under a traffic light in this side of the woods could get you shot. Wyoming you could be shot and left for dead, in some cases.
Salt Lake City is different. People are starting to get sued for stopping a crime—not always but becoming more prevalent. James, when I read your stories it sounds like you live on a alien planet. If we changed places we would both die of shock, me because I would stick out like a sore thumb, and you because most of the cops are a little cocky but still pretty good people. This changes also when you go to Salt Lake City. Plus people still look out for each other in rural areas. Your website has really opened my eyes. Take care out in there in Indian Territory.
Ishmael.
Ishmael, I saw a pretty, 30-year-old white woman head out for a jog on my street just as it got dark tonight. Because there are so few hunters, she, like most deer, will live out this hunting season, but only because she is not selected as prey. She passed me at the very spot where my neighbor was attacked by five men two years back. Of course, I would help her if I saw her in danger. But that pretty man she just moved in with has nothing at all to do with her idea of survival, which is false, and entirely vested in her belief that the world wants to have sex with her, and she is therefore sacred and inviolate, when, in reality, there are at least 1,000 innocent unarmed black Baltimore youth who will, if they are ever standing where I was this evening at 7 p.m., rape her on sight for the very same reason she believes she is safe—because the world wants to inseminate her! And yes, I would gladly slaughter negroes on our shared sidewalk for no other reason than to earn her cute approval, but, my old ass will probably be taking a nap when it happens, while her husband is watching whatever fаggots married to cute distance runners watch when they’re letting their wife run half-naked through one of the world’s most dangerous cities!

What the hell.....is that dude some rich drug dealer or silver spoon receptor that this chick would willingly move their and be that naive?

The white people in my city are leaving in waves and we have had a rash shootings lately. Coincidence? I think not.

The smart Hispanics are moving in droves to my neighborhood. They fit the same amount of people in one house that the whites here do in 5. So far they seem decent outside of lots of yelling but my wife does not leave the house ever without a firearm.

Inspector, this chick who jogged off in tights last night from three doors down-right next door to Binky's crackhouse—was a 7, a body mass index goddess, and she thinks that tight ass is armor, not a bull's-eye!

We have two remodeled houses going on the market now—and right down the street Mandy got raped under a streetlight in July.

Glad you lady is packing. Your area seems to be a blooming hot zone.

Ishmael stated that "most of the cops are a little cocky but still pretty good people." I too live in an area that is between the suburbs and farm country, which I call ruburban, and I find the cops to be fair. I have never been pulled over for no reason, asked for an ID when walking somewhere, or know of anyone who has. I suspect the reason is that there just isn't that much crime but also because rural police can't afford to act as an occupying force because they are dependent upon the community as resources are limited. However, I have noticed minorities moving into the area, which I suspect is due to the government applying the false legal doctrine known as "Disparate Impact" and encouraging section-8 housing. Trust me, it is very strange to see blacks living among the Amish. The reason I suspect this is because after having engaged several of these people in conversation I was met with suspicion and reluctance which tells me they are city. I only hope that this trend does not hold long term.

Don, I'm assuming you are from Southern PA, where I have a few relatives and other readers, which seems to be on the forefront of some urbanization initiative. I remember, living in Wash PA, that cops were always fair, always diplomatic, and always respected.

There is something that happens in an urban zone that erodes that.

Thank you for your observations.
