The Lady and The Grunt
Her's & His' Reviews With VJ Waks
© 2013 James LaFond
VJ Waks and I have been discussing literature over the phone. This is a pleasant exercise and has inspired us both to write various pieces. In fact VJ gave me the idea for the horror story Summer Moon. This past week VJ came up with an idea, and as with most suggestions aimed at my small brain by attractive ladies I immediately agreed.
We will be doing Yin-Yang reviews of notable books. We are generally taking a look at material we have read in the past and have decided to reread. The idea came up when we were comparing reading lists and discovered that we were both reading Bram Stoker's Dracula. I read it once while trying to keep track of the run in my English teacher's pantyhose about 150 years ago, and Ms. Waks has read it so much that she can recite it. If we find ourselves in disagreement it sounds like an intellectual ass-kicking for LaFond.
The second title will most likely be Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I'm suspecting the third is going to be something by H.P. Lovecraft.
