I have read dozens of books on the training of elite military units from the French Foreign Legion to the U.S. Navy SEALs, and have marveled at how many training fatalities are sustained preparing the world’s top warriors for battle. So, as a training ground for some of the world’s most effective gang-land killers it comes as no surprise that Harm City gang bangers and/or aspiring thugz, would also suffer their own training accidents.

Yesterday, on 7/17/14, just before 4 a.m., three young men gathered in the basement of a house in the Westport neighborhood of East Baltimore to test a bullet proof vest against two rounds from a .22-caliber pistol. The 28-year-old subject declared himself ready before the video camera to take “deuce deuce in the chest”. Unfortunately his test partner had not earned his WalkUp Certificate from DriveBy LLC., and missed the vest, plugging his boy twice in the upper chest. By the time the shooter and another man got the armor test subject to University of Maryland Medical Center, it was too late. Our hero was pronounced dead, and, in true draconian fashion, members of the Baltimore Occupation Force arrested and charged the sub-par handgunner with second degree murder and two gun charges.

Not only do urban foot soldiers face hazardous training conditions, but must conduct training operations under the noses of the enemy, making war fighting preparations doubly dangerous.
