An Occult Element
Nicky Wonders at Demonic Influence in History: 7/25/26

Hey James
It's Nicky again, hope you are well. I am reading Undertaken now and am enjoying it. I can't help but that think that this Conspiracy against Mankind involves an occult element and that it seems like things are being orchestrated by demons or something. What are your thoughts on this? I followed a link on your site to Lynn's site and read an article on there and that explained a lot, thank you for the useful link.
Anyway keep up the good work
Kind regards
-Nicky
…
Nicky, I have met two men by your name this year, and do not find you in my e-book purchase record. But, my email knows you. I am losing acuity. This realization, that my ability to peek behind the veil that bars humanity for an understanding of our management, is not mine, and is ephemeral, fits well with your question. In his conversation with Priam, Achilles, younger of the doomed twain, suggests that the gods are cruel, not through indifference, but through malice engendered by jealousy. This is a disputed impression of the monologue when Achilles handles the vase and discusses Human plight. It is an overt theme in the Odyssey. My main work covering this is in process and is titled MORTAL, a novel about the postmodern Vampire State, suggested by Banjo in late 2025. However, your query comes from the book that was born of two projects Sons of Aryas and The Son of God, Arуan history and Alexander’s Expedition. About my fourth read of Arrian I finally understood that Alexander was fighting an invisible, international, perhaps metaphysical enemy. I took a year off of writing his story to do Undertaken and wrap of Norns of Aryas, both tools I hope to use in examining his story.
Now, as I wrap of Plantation America to make room for the mightiest man in this waning mind, you get to the crux of what I think Alexander believed he was dealing with. No Born Again Christian, Holy Roller, Bible Thumper or televangelist, no jihadist or cloistered monk of today, demonstrates the expressive depth of faith and commitment in other-wordly powers that Alexander did. He surpassed the god-obsessed Pharaohs in the frequency and logistics of his acts of faith.
These things are to be told in his story. The present book, Aegis: or Warwick, is to be a guide for we moderns—particularly this marooned mind—in developing the tools to understand Alexander and discover his greatest partner, Longarus, the hero king who served him and his descendants even, and mostly, in death.
Are we being meddled with by demons?
The Aztecs and Conquistadors agreed on this point, but disagreed on whether to serve or resist.
Do demons, angels, devils, sendings, and other lesser forms of supernatural power interfere with human society?
All of Europe, Asia and Africa—every catholic, orthodox, protestant, Hebrew, Muslim, Coptic, agnostic, animistic, heathen and pagan person of the 1400s and 1500s agreed that it was so. They disagreed about what powers were good and evil, with Christians and Hebrews mostly squabbling over specifics of secular doctrine, resulting in atheism, and agnostic or secular humanist views. This devolution into the secular, scientific, mechanistic, “Promethean” worldview has entirely blinded us to the non mechanical world. Oddly, the cutting edge research on this has been left in the hands of free-thinkers such as Andrew Edwards and Jethro Randolph. This speaks of an invisible hand. As Alan Gardiner noted in The Egyptians of 1961, the only way to understand actuality in ancient Egypt [since the state decrees were mostly inflated boasts, lies and threats] was to access the scraps of fiction that have come down to us. Since our smartest men have been trained by media and academia to distrust fiction unto visceral distaste, I will use two historical examples to illustrate the concentric spheres of action, both visible and invisible.

The Great War
Other than giving birth to WWII—our founding myth—and extinguishing the brightest lights of a warrior race, WWI achieved an unintended counterstroke. Whatever actors who put into effect that great burnt offering to banking, drew a minority report, a tiny riposte, an organic reaction to mass masculine extinction. Modern Fantasy, as a metaphor for understanding a metaphysically manipulated reality, was born. The most insightful authors of the mid 20th Century, Ernst Junger, Mervin Peake, Edison, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, all fought in WWI and suffered transmogrification, informing the best works of our age. Later, Kurt Vonagut and Gene Wolfe, would continue this tradition of PTSD as rocket fuel for speculative fiction. Edison was, I think, the first to write in metaphor of a fantasy world reflecting reality through the lens of the war that ended Christendom entirely. In his Induction to The Worm Oroborus, he introduces the protagonists and antagonists, as demons. In the ancient view demons were not all evil, but of varied aspect, and served greater powers.
The early church, as it developed political ambition through collective liturgical debate as the pagan order dissolved, found a vested interest in depicting everything about the past, other than the Hebrew, as evil and corrupt. In this view, God is powerless to, or careless of communicating with humanity, only working through one race. This was the key criticism of the 1800s secular humanists, that tilted society towards a Godless system which now seeks, as if by instinct, to raise its own earthly God. In this they followed rabbinical tradition, which began putting social mechanics above and before the individual human interface with God. Eternity was being actively slain through debate in man’s collective eye by A.D. 100.
The authors mentioned above seem to have been in agreement that God had often communicated with non-Hebrew humanity, and was not the cruel, absentee world builder envisioned by the humanists and the liturgical lawyers. You will get a better peek behind the veil through their works, than through any “history.”

Picket’s Charge
I have often studied military campaigns and then spoken with a participant. In most cases, the private soldiers and officers I spoke with were almost entirely ignorant of the strategic situation they experienced from a tactical perspective. Only one of Patton’s men, interviewed about 30 years ago in an article entitled A Ghost of Patton’s Army, had operational or strategic understanding. Let’s use a famous action as an example.
On the Third Day at Gettysburg, General Picket was ordered to take a hill with his Division. Most of his men and officers would be slaughtered. He never forgave his commander, Robert E. Lee for this. He was later made head of the Egyptian military due to his proven blind heroism.
This charge was ordered by Picket, in obedience to Longstreet [who thought it was stupid], in obedience to Lee, who knew it was stupid but retained confidence in the heroism of his men when his own wits had failed them. That is three layers of misunderstanding right there. We may now look above.
Above Lee in understanding is Meade, his actual master and enemy on this day. For Meade’s horsemen did not fail him, as Jeb Stuart utterly failed Lee, rendering his boss blind in service to his own glory. Above Meade is Seward, Lincoln and Lincoln’s foes in Congress.
Above Lee, is Jeff Davis and the Grandee Planters. Above both, are international interests, industries, bankers financing both sides, nations encouraging war among their upstart opponent in order to study the use and effects of new weapons.
Below Pickett are the officers who know they are dead men who must pass in honor, NCOs concerned with not letting down their officer or their men, and the men, who are almost completely ignorant, without even a clear view of the operational zone. The few people with a real understanding of this might be scouts and spotters for artillery, who are really just observers.
How many layers of action are there?
…
Invisible From the Field of Action [7]
17.) Banking, Leverage
16.) Industry, Power
15.) Alien Nation, England, France, Prussia, etc.
14.) Politics, Executive, Lincoln
13.) Politics, Collective, Congress
12.) Politics, Administrative, Cabinet
11.) Media, Newspapers & faiths, with religion demoted to media “influencer” status in the 1700s.
…
Visible From/On the Field of Action [10]
10.) Robert E. Lee, Army
9.) Longstreet, Corp
8.) Picket, Division
7.) Anderson, Brigade [3 brigadiers, I think]
6.) Colonel, communicating upward
5.) Major, communicating downward
4.) Captain
3.) Lieutenant
2.) Sergeant
1.) Private
The private in a battle is like a worker in an economy—necessary blinded to the big picture. This is why Alexander led from the front, to focus his men on the action at hand. Redaction of leadership in favor of management is a key mechanic of social control.
We have 17 actual known levels of action. 10 are visible. A mere sense of narrative balance begs for 3 more invisible layers of action. Nowhere above is there a viewpoint actor that does not have a visible, tangible interest in the battle obvious to a neutral observer. Newspapers have a huge vested interest in war. We do not know what these levels are. The trend on all of these is a multiplication of power, a sergeant commanding 10, his boss 30, the captain a hundred… Bobby Lee 30,000, Lincoln 30 million, industries controlling multiple nations, banks controlling multiple industries and media. Some body of thought with super-leverage must control the banks, as all such entities encourage the same situations, even when—especially when—they align on opposite sides of a physical conflict.
Thus we must have actor 18, some body of minds residing on earth that has sufficient insight to control or influence all/most of the actors. Some people believe that this is a transnational race/religion. Let’s call them the Whoo. The Whoo, however, are visible, and belong to the media/religion of tier 11. Also there are members of the Whoo race/religion in all of the lower levels down to 1. Since most of my readers believe that this group is a kind of hive willing to sacrifice its lower orders for an invisible higher order, let’s say that the Synod of Satan is their high order, Level 18, an invisible cult, on earth, dedicated to worshiping and serving negative, manipulative, predatory, metaphysical power.
This leaves open a level 19. I will invoke Genesis, Ovid and Job and suggest the Earth Herself, with all living upon it subject to her changes and rages.
Level 20 I suggest is cosmic, solar flares, meteors, comets, aliens, etc.
I have yet to mention metaphysics. Again, for narrative balance, and invoking Ovid, Homer and Hesiod, I here suggest that there are mirror actors beyond the physical, 20 levels of action in the fields of dreams, pre-incarnation, post-incarnation, day, night… that constitute aspects of Eternity, under a 21st level supreme actor, as Aristotle supposed, “The Unmoved Mover,” and Ovid mused, “whatever god,” was the architect of Creation.
I am mostly blind to the mirror actors; and do believe I have been touched by demons, angels, sendings, tempted by deviltry and tasked by something greater, and hope to serve the better angels rather and the baser demons of our nature.
Alexander, however, had a rustic devotion to an educated ideal of all of the metaphysical leverage points and explicitly saw himself as a knight campaigning on a chessboard of the God’s, in obvious hopes of attaining justice for the living and the dead and attaining a place among the Undying.

Notes
That the queen is most powerful and the king weakest, piece on the chessboard, is an ancient recognition that civilization corrupts the best men of tradition.
