'Funny Stories, Vicious Fights'
A Modern Agonistics Q&A with Lynn Lockhart
© 2017 James LaFond
MAY/19/17
James, I was surprised by how readable and interesting this book was, full of funny stories, vicious fights, analysis and instructions, when I was expecting something more like a textbook. There is so much here, that we really just scratched the surface in the Q&A. I liked the detailed description of various materials for sticks, wrapping techniques, and other weapon and armor craft. You also describe a few Agons quite memorably, and close with an excellent essay from your friend and fighter Erique. Thanks for doing the Q&A!
