Money is the Devil's filthy lucre, particularly government money. So many losses of state's rights and economic freedoms have been lost because WE THE PEOPLE won't get federal funds if we don't comply with federal regulations. For example, government money has huge strings attached when it comes to the subject of diversity. Whenever you sell to the government, the government wants to know if you're complying with federal equal-employment laws.
