Exit SlaveWorld #1: Training Camps and Men’s Retreats: Denver, PA, 5/9/26

AUG/31/26
The following will be sent in the rough to the three men who are best positioned in a loose, lateral training network, to offer structure and leadership to the types of odd fellows who most often seek out hand-to-hand combat training for self-defense and manly mental health. These are Sean, James and Alex, with the latter interested in developing a handbook for such men who wish to box and grapple.
Two weeks from now Sean’s Man Weekend has, I think, its eleventh year. It started with 3 men and has gone up to 14. This year it is pushing 20. I have been invited to advise, assist and otherwise stay out of the way. I was going to bail on my challenge to Jersey Jon to do a bare knuckle bout. Then, Adam Swinder, who I have not seen in at least ten years, called and announced he was bringing a fighter all the way up from Southern Virginia and said, “James, how about a stick fight for old time’s sake?”
I said yes. So I can’t bitch-out on Jon now. Alexander has asked me to observe and assist at an event in early July and write up a training manual for him, focused on boxing. Hands down, boxing is what young men seeking their traditional masculine roots in this feminist money swamp are most drawn to, increasingly bare knuckle and dirty boxing. What is this turning away from gloved money boxing and increasingly GAY MMA signify? Is it a quiet revolt against the promoters and masters who don’t fight?
I have been involved in weekend training camps and fight events since 2001, almost all of which were failures in every way. The local coach brings in an international coach, charges a prohibitive amount of money for fighters to attend, and still ends up taking a $5k bath after flying his master instructor back to his home gym. No one leaves better at fighting than he arrived and some come away with use and uke injuries.
To date the most successful events, in terms of turn out, have been a stick meet to benefit Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital in 2006, and Sean’s 2022, 24 & 25 Man Weekends, all drawing 11 to 14 fighters. In terms of quality, of training had, strides taken, and solid networking made, the most successful has Been Paul’s November 2025 Man weekend in Saint Louis. There was only six of us, but were able to work our guts out, every man improving, except for this worn-out goat. Sean also supervised the development of new knife defense work. Another excellent, but tiny even, was Anderson, Joe, O’Neil and myself sparring for hours at a Centralia Washington park in 2022.
I would like to do what I can to help build the quality of the smaller events into the size of the larger events. What I left out, is that the various fight contests in 2006 and at the man weekends, has involved most of the fighters sitting it out MOST OF THE TIME while the strong few drift into sub events where the action is. The problem is built into the modern mind. Less than 1 in 100 men who is invited to these events will attend, as fear rules their lives, womanly fear of injury, bitch-made cuck-man fear of the matriarch who rules them, or Holy HER disapproving. There is also lack of trust in other attendees that [as in martial arts gyms] psychos lurk in the mix wanting to injure, and therefore reduce earnings in a world of reduced earnings. Even in these free events, it all comes down to money fear and being caught in the witch-gear.
What most men need is more time with men like Sean, Anderson and Alex, all three of which will be there, leader types who can kick your ass and will decline to injure you. I, a crippled, small, old man, have sparred with these men for hours and have not been injured by them. Our enemy is the spectator-ethos, the proxy world of celebrity, pioneered by show wrestling, which has debased American team sports and even the idea of a team, which long ago supplanted honor, and has no gown down the same drear road. Basketball players and soccer players act in humiliating fake injury rituals. Football players dance like whores, unable even to lift their own water bottle, and baseball players pose like “victorious” pro wrestlers, spending more time in celebrating their acts than in action. The Inner American yearns to watch, not do, to be on the sideline, to see the risk taker in action and then say, “too risky for me,” and then drift back into witch-world, where the feminine rules through the casting of such self-negating spells.
This coming event we have a rare chance to step outside of the spectator-making imbalance of fighter and fan, and even the honor-erasing idea of teams “sanctioned” by boss OGS and catering to women and the weaklings they shepherd up the meatchute of souls. Sean will not be the lone alpha male who has to do everything from cook, build the ring, coach and fight, while half the men sleep in. There will be two other men willing to lead. This gives us a rare opportunity to help the majority of men who attend. And they need it, have quietly asked for it.
The Majority
In all these events from 2001 Baltimore to July 25 in Indian Springs, California [November in Saint Louis was an exception, the reverse], I have identified a clear majority. These are men who have the desire to escape the slave matrix through fight training, and sometimes fighting. There is a mix of practical desire for self-defense ability and for fellowship with real men. These men show up, make their effort, learn what they can. Come Sunday they drift back to their lonely feedstall, where such activity is taboo, to their await another such event for any manly improvement. For most martial artists and our weekend warriors, what occurs is the physical experience of opening up an adventure comic and being in it, only to close that book and come back to bitchworld. In bitchworld there is ZERO man trust.
I invited my brother to this as he did what few modern men our age would do, unload a truck with me. He can beat me in anything. But, he spent his life in the military, in team sports [including an Army boxing team] and the workplace. From his perspective, I am totally insane, for we all know that psychos who just want to hurts us lurk in sports. As youths his soccer coach tried to recruit me to injure rival players, despite my total lack of soccer ability. As a man of 60 he quit an adult league in disgust. That team sport-military experience forever hitched my better half to the bitch rail. Knowing that the majority return to this world, and from them we get knew training partners, they must be able to report something more than being coached in taboo fighting and then watching a couple studs do most of it.
The Minority
These are men who are willing to practice more than one form of combat. Any one, any man, who will only practice one combat art, is not a serious combatant. He is a hobbyist. The chances that a man who will only knife fight, or only box, or only grapple, will be attacked by a set of hoodrats who will only engage in one of those activities, is insane. I do not care if you are a world champion in this or that. If you will only do that, in highly contrived circumstances no less, then I’d rather have an amateur wrestler who trains knife, next to me in an evil situation. The goal of such men should be to help hobby fighters and mere martial artists to become unconditional combatants. Keep in mind that most hobby fighters are highly motivated by FEAR, the fear that they can’t defend themselves. This dysmania has been incubated within a social matrix based on many fears engineered to inflict ostracism on any man who dares defy the proxy ethos. That proxy ethos says that better men protect us, better men fight for us.
The following sections, will be sent to Sean, James, and Alex over the next week in hopes that they will have some ideas for developing more participation among men engaged in such a lateral organization. This is a great challenge, as they run towards the loner type. They are also mostly men who will never join a hierarchical training set. All three of these men work in both realms, voluntary association and structured, top-down training.
