Tres Hombres
Harm City Hoodrats facing Competition From Feral Fat Heads

Last weekend, just around the corner from my young friend Andrew's well-appointed cardboard box [actually a pyramid of 4 waxed cardboard pumpkin/watermelon bins wired together] the local liquor store in this outlying area of East Baltimore, was entered by three cagey "Latinos."
The next day the three fat heads returned and robbed the proprietor. On was armed with a handgun, another with a machete, and another was unarmed. This is an excellent method for detailing responsibility, which is generally quite beyond the organizational capacity of the Harm City Hoodrat.
I see this incident as a positive sign for Harm City. Any ecosystem that has only two predators [pigs and hoodrats] competing for prey will tend to stagnate along a polar axis. Not only do I see the Harm City watering hole to be a more balanced food chain, if this trend continues, but also look forward to the day when Feral Fat Heads eradicate the Harm City Hoodrat.

Oh yes, the many-splendoured glories of the urban habitat. So glad your diversity is getting a little more "vibrant".

A vibrant setting is good for the writer's heart.
