Dark Ink Clouds
Help me understand why these suckers are gray and featureless on the bottom, super low-altitude, but don't rain. It's not smog, unless 1 billion trucks just hit the road. So is it all water vapor? They proliferate most days of the week, even when forecasted to be 100% Clear & Sunny.
Even the very edge of the cloud is gray? Even when I lived in San Francisco, when the low-altitude marine layer rolled in, it never looked ..... gray.
My favorite. Really shows the contrast of color with its sibling clouds at the same elevation (which again, seems so low, you can reach out and touch it!)
