In this installment of the Single Dude Survival Guide the subject is observing police behavior patterns to determine how their visible policing methods indicate an increased or decreased likelihood of attacks on civilians by local criminals.
This is really my prime tool now in The City. Every day I count rapid responses on my street [three yesterday] and BPD chopper searches within a half mile. These two measures can be taken while I sit here writing.
The BPD chopper is really getting worked. When Mescaline Franklin was down last month and slept in the attic, he came downstairs in the morning and said, “Jeeze, the chopper is ridiculous. I felt like I was sleeping at a firebase in some old Vietnam War movie.”
