How you holdin up ol' hobo?
Recently i listend to the "Hell on Earth" series by Chapo Traphouse about the 30 years war, english civil war and so on.
I'm sure you are familiar with the daddy's money dirtbag commie fags hosting this show. The perspective is non the less interesting, simply for being a perspective.
Here is the RSS feed
for any episode just mark the link that is marked mp3 and open in a new tab, or i could send you the links themselves if you are intested and want something to listen to on the train.
here are episodes 1,2,3 of the overall 12 and ongoing bonus episodes.
Introduction about the series, including this simply because its funny that they called it "the violence birth of capitalism" while advertising their discounts and i don't pay squad.
Episode 1 "God"
Episode 2 "Death"
Episode 3 "Kings"
PS: is upscaled the font this time. Last time you said something the font size but that wasn't me, thats your device. Now i do it anyway like its an old persons phone.
Thank you, Grendel, I'll post this soon. I might have time to listen when recovering from surgery. [1] The big type is appreciated. Don't know how to adjust my device.
At this point, I do not listen to recordings of nonfiction books written since the 1800s. I listen to ancient books over and over again, usually eight times, sometimes as many as 40 times. [2] I no longer open my computer on the train as I have lost two in this fashion, one from a power surge and the other from getting banged around. Also, on American trains there are no wyfy.
I have a friend and reader who is interested in the 30 Years War but cannot read books that are not entertaining and has scant patience for dry history. So he may enjoy this very much.
Notes
-1. I have double hernia surgery this summer. This will ground me for some time as I cannot travel light, hauling two computers and all of my worldly belongings with me. So I will be stuck in the Baltimore Area, hopefully publishing some 50 outstanding drafts.
-2. Modern interpretations of history are so contrived and cluttered that I avoid them at all costs. The work of tossing out and unwinding the cords of the lies is tiring.
