Jethro and I were discussing how to go about putting my final self-defense book in print, On Combat. He has the print rights. He was also writing new material and reworking his previous books into the format. We agreed to do a three volume Encyclopedia of Not Getting Boned. Jeth has assigned me some new sections and has been a gracious editor. It has been an honor, and an excitement, as Jeth brings a much more accessible approach to the subject of individual survival than i did in such books as When You're Food and Alienation Nation, which were mere source books, tours of the violent world awaiting the losers in life's lottery.
Thanks James, I really look forward to your thoughts on the material.
Vol 1, Force: Contested Autonomy
Vol 2, Force: Naked Autonomy
Vol 3, Force: Tooled Autonomy
Stay safe on the road my friend.
Best, J

Hello to all from The Septic Isle,
I would like to comment on this post just to add the following about Force: Contested Autonomy and the goals behind it:
Pass on info – at the tail end of my functionality in terms of both physical agency and also as a coach – though , I am arguably well past it. - all other books are withdrawn now, and these will be my student texts going forwards into whatever is coming.
The texts are from over 10 years of teaching notes that I could never assemble into a workable frame work without the element of truth – an attempt at which this project finally allowed.
Attempt to provide a truthful guide for younger people on the reality of the world as it was EXPERIENCED – to aid accelerated learning for their consideration which can be built positively upon.
A guide to recognising the contesting of your free will by an outside entity of ANY scale by the complete spectrum of force.
A guide to recognition of what force really is and how force is applied to the individual by increasing scales of outside threat – this last point is navigated very carefully as some readers will understand due to the location I live in and the difficulty in speaking plainly here in the (Dis)UK
Presenting the logic of working class survivalism in the world of IS as written about by James – to an audience of mostly men who will struggle to allow some of the ideas in due to a lifetime of gaslighting and the warm, familiar comfort of it.
Recognition, awareness, and further “Fieldnotes” will continue in the subsequent “Naked” and “Tooled” volumes along with continuing transatlantic comparison chapters from James and myself .
Many thanks to James for this post and for the honour of writing the books with him – and to those of you who have already contributed.
Any men that would like to contribute a personal lived force experience to the upcoming volumes, please contact me at the Substack Journal.
Thank you all for your support and friendship.
J
