I checked my old email account a day after Miss Lockhart spent hours scheduling posts through October.

I very much appreciate our patreon supporters.

We have planned on taking down patreon as of December 31, for the honest reason that the account was specific to one mission: Plantation America. I will stop Plantation America work at end of year and wrap up what we have into the final 4 volumes.

An email from patreon has explained to me that James LaFond is not my legal [government] name. I have written under my own name, even when attempting to do otherwise in Randy Bracken Goes to Hell. I bet Ms. Lockhart will fix this. But this is an attack, so I will respond in kind. I don’t want the work she did two days ago to go to waste. If she can convince the nerds at patreon that I am James LaFond, the site will run through October, then vanish. If Lynn cannot, or does not deem it worth her time [for squabbling with patreon is not worth my time, I have writing to do] to correct the impression that I am not James LaFond, the site will be ghosted by patreon as of August 2 in any case.

TO HELL WITH PATREON.

I suggest the following, even if she fixes this:

-Do not join patreon.

-If you are a member, cancel your membership.

-If you still want to support our work on Plantation America, switch to substack or simply make purchases of print books, site ebooks, or send donations to the site.
