Exit SlaveWorld #4.5: Training Camps and Men’s Retreats: Lancaster, PA, 5/13/26

OCT/28/26
We have no champion boxers coming. We do have three boxing coaches, a tactical instructor, and a handful of men in their 30s who have made remarkable progress boxing late in life. I KNOW that we can use the men we have, to conduct THE BEST boxing camp ever conducted for working men. Here is the plan, with all reasons given.
Rather than having a roving coach, as with weapons, we should have our best boxer as a roving sparring partner, Jersey Jon. The main circle will be run by Sean, as head boxing coach. He will focus on the jab, the weak point of most MMA and Thai fighters. He will run circles A & B, using the men with the two best jabs besides himself: Cody [who will have almost no gas tank but is a demonic southpaw] and can rotate with Sean, and Paul who can box all day. Paul has been tasked by his black coach to take on all of the Mexicans that show up and feed them jabs to protect the delicate ribs of his black fighters. I would use Paul [Circle A] as the introduction sparring partner and Cody [Circle B] as the foil for the better boxers…
Circles C & D will be run by Alex and James L.
Circle C
Alex will conduct a small circle clinic that will progress towards standing MMA transitions.
Circle D
James, tasked with prepping James Anderson with boxing Sean, will run a peek-a-boo clinic with James as the sparring partner.
If we could have a round caller, someone who isn’t fit to box, to keep 60 second rounds for all rings at the same time, this will facilitate movement from ring to ring.
1st Cycle
Circle A: Paul, controlling a 2-step ring with the jab. The ring should not be big enough for a third step. The size of a basketball tip-off circle is ideal. Only the jab is thrown by both fighters.
Circle B: Cody, cutting angles. Cody is a southpaw and serves as a good stand in for Sean, depending on the size of man required.
Circle C: Alex takes men two at a time and schools them on full pressure boxing, in range all of the time, using his small circle method.
Circle D: JL will coach fighters 5’ 11” and taller to spar Anderson as stand-up boxers. Short fighters will practice peek-a-boo too. For those of the right body type, this style may be taken to the other rings and tested.
2nd Cycle
Circles A & B: [orthodox and southpaw] cutting angles, mugging, safety pivoting [Paul] and pass punching [Sean/Cody] behind the jab.
Circle C: Dirty/Clinch boxing
Circle D: Peek-a-boo entries, close passing, shoveling and chopping
3rd Cycle
Cody and Paul are relieved to float.
Circle A: Anderson goes to A to free spar with all comers.
Circle B: Kick boxing with Sean—yikes.
Circle C: MMA transitions with Alex.
Circle D: Bare-knuckle boxing with JL, assisted by Jon.
When this is done, I would request a final, 10 minute, light contact, bare-knuckle demo with Alex and Jon to demonstrate the uses of the fist least likely to injure the hand.
I will be available for individual work during down time, before and after the designated work sessions. After such a day all present will be well informed as to the competition sets available for the next day. I suggest avoiding competition on Saturday in something not trained on Friday, unless the fighter is experienced in that form.
Ideas for match making are important with so many types of fighting, with a wide range of skill, experience and size present. Fighting to the opponent’s level. A higher level fighter can get great experienced against an over-matched man by setting limits and goals. We have Sean fighting orthodox against the smaller Anderson. Limiting your power to that of a lighter-hitting man can help you prepare for when you run into a harder hitting man, by forcing you to box.
Bare-knuckle is gaining in appeal. Since I have done the research on the historical forms and had some bare knuckle fights in my youth I will dedicate the rest of this booklet to describing the methods for the benefit of the coaches, such as Sean and Alex, who will be tasked with coaching the next generation of boxers.
