In seeking records of aboriginal whites in North America I came across this story of people descended from ancient Persian Arуan stock having settled in Peru and New Zealand and having been assimilated into the Maori culture.

If there were prehistoric migrations of such people into North America, this may help explain the high rate of interbreeding between the Eastern Woodlands Indians and 17th Century European colonists, as there would have been a preexisting biological affinity and possibly a preserved oral history.
